Bio Island Cod Liver + Fish Oil for Kids combines cod liver oil and fish oil which is rich in omega 3 fatty acids to help support healthy growth and development for infants and children.
Cod Liver Oil is a nutritional supplement derived from liver of cod fish. It is well accepted as a natural source of vitamin A and D.
DHA & EPA are essential omega-3 fatty acids, as the body cannot produce them and they therefore must be obtained through the diet. Vitamin A plays a role in boosting the immune system. Vitamin D is essential for the absorption and utilisation of calcium. Vitamin D is therefore very important during the growth years. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that helps to prevent free radical damage to polyunsaturated fatty acids that help to form the cell membrane.

Directions
Infants 0-6 months: Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended, consult your healthcare professional and use only as directed.
Children 7 - 12 months: Take 1-2 capsules daily.
Children 1 - 3 years: Take 2 capsules daily.
Children 4 - 8 years: Take 3 capsules daily.
Children 9+ years: Take 4 capsules daily or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Please take with a meal.
Precautions
Always read the label & use only as directed.
For children under 4 years, cut the capsule tail and squeeze the contents onto a spoon before administering into mouth. Alternatively, the dosage can be squeezed onto food.
