Grape seed extract provides a concentrated source of polyphenols, most in the form of oligomeric procyanidins (OPCs).
OPCs possess potent antioxidant properties to protect against cellular damage. Some researchers claim that the antioxidant power of OPCs is around 20 times greater than vitamin E and 50 times greater than vitamin C.
OPCs support blood vessel integrity and are important for vein, eye and cardiovascular health.
OPCs also support healthy skin and connective tissues by encouraging collagen and elastin production in the skin matrix.
