Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin found in fresh fruits and vegetables and some organ meats. It provides important antioxidant protection and helps maintain a robust immune system supporting the body’s ability to resist bacterial and viral infections. Adequate vitamin C levels also shorten recovery time after infections and helps speed up the wound healing process.

Vitamin C is also essential for the production of collagen, so growing children need plenty of vitamin C in order to build strong connective tissue foundations. Directions
